  Bitmap Image Displayer

Want to incorporate your own bitmap images into your SiMPLE programs? With this "plotbmp" task, you can! Just specify the image* that you want to use (and where you want it to appear on your screen). It's that easy!

Source Listing

To run the example program shown in the source listing above, you will first need to copy and save the following 16-color bitmap image onto the root directory of your hard drive. (Right-click anywhere on the image, and then choose "Save Picture As...")

*(The "plotbmp" task works most efficiently with 16-color bitmap images.)

How To Run The Program

If you're feeling ambitious and have nothing better to do, you could just copy
the source listing by hand! However, there is a much easier way to do it:

  1. Copy the source listing into the Windows Clipboard

  2. Paste the Clipboard into a new text document

  3. Drop that text document onto the "Drop SiMPLE Listing Here" icon

(If you would like to contribute any of your SiMPLE programs to The Gallery, just e-mail them to us.)
