Welcome To The "Hypermaze" Challenge!

You have been captured by a race of highly advanced space aliens who are out to dominate the galaxy. They want to find out if Earth-humans are intelligent enough to be worth keeping alive.

To test your intelligence, they have put you in a hovercraft and placed it inside a four-dimensional maze. (Click here to read about four-dimensional mazes.)

Your hovercraft is equipped with a control panel that shows you where you are:

Viewport: Displays the view from your front window.

Heading: Indicates the direction you are facing.

Location: Indicates your current "XYZ" location. (Your "Z" location is indicated by the five colors: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, or Violet, respectively.)

Universe: Indicates which of the five universes you are currently located in.

Your control panel also allows you to specify which actions you would like to take (by clicking your mouse on the indicated red areas):

Left: Turns (pivots) your hovercraft 90 degrees to the left.

Right: Turns (pivots) your hovercraft 90 degrees to the right.

Up: Turns (pivots) your hovercraft 90 degrees up (unless you are already facing up). [You are not allowed to fly upside down.]

Down: Turns (pivots) your hovercraft 90 degrees down (unless you are already facing down). [You are not allowed to fly upside down.]

Forward: Moves (zooms) your hovercraft forward to the next chamber.

Hyperjump Up: When lit, "teleports" your hovercraft "up" one universe.

Hyperjump Down: When lit, "teleports" your hovercraft "down" one universe.

Enable Sounds: Toggles the sound capability on/off. [If you do not have SiMPLE installed on your computer, you will not hear any sounds.]

Enable Zooming: Toggles the forward zooming capability on/off. [If you have a slow computer, you might want to disable zooming.]

"Esc" Key: [Aborts the mission.]
