Use The Command Line, Not Windows
Many of SiMPLE's command line commands have a corresponding functionality available in Windows. (For example, the CLONE command is similar to the Windows "Copy" operation, the ZAP command is similar to the "Delete" operation, etc.) So you may be tempted to simply "Point & Click" your way into the right SiMPLE folder, and then use your mouse to perform the desired operations instead of having to type them in on SiMPLE's command line.
This is generally not a good practice to
follow
(unless you really know what you're doing).
SiMPLE's command-line mode was designed to be used independently from Windows. It therefore performs its own internal "bookkeeping" of where files and folders are supposed to be located and what they are supposed to contain. (For example, you cannot use SiMPLE's UNZAP command to restore a file from the Windows Recycle Bin. Nor can you create a new SiMPLE project by merely creating a folder in the \SiMPLE\PROJECT\DOS sub-folder. You must use SiMPLE's GO command to create the new project.) However, it is permissible to modify the contents of any of your files that contain source listings.
If you want to use your mouse to perform some command line operations, you should look at SiMPLE's "MICKEY" command.
