Frequently Asked Questions

I want to play the Tri-Quest game, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

Tri-Quest is an adventure game. In it, you will explore places and solve puzzles. The game is similar to reading a book, except that you interact with the story to drive it forward.

When playing Tri-Quest you should play honestly and pretend that you are actually living your part in the story. Otherwise you may miss out on some of the experiences to be had.

In the game, you will find links and images that you can click. With a few obvious exceptions, if clicking an image or link opens a new window, that new window represents an optional "side excursion" that you can take for your own amusement. It is not a "required" part of the Tri-Quest game. (For example, try clicking on the picture behind the couch.)

I'm playing Tri-Quest and I'm stuck in the living room with nowhere to go. What should I do?

Have you found the "Alice in Wonderland" book in the bookcase? (It's the smallest book on the shelf.) Finding the book will inspire you to want to go on an adventure of your own.

Ok, I've found the "Alice in Wonderland" book in the bookcase and I've gone back to the couch. Now what?

Perhaps you'd like to check your e-mail, or watch a little bit of TV. Or you could just sit there and twiddle your thumbs!

I've decided to go downtown and I went into the video arcade. What am I supposed to do in there?

The video arcade is merely a kind of "bonus" in the game. It offers you the opportunity of downloading some free video games to play on your PC.

I've been all through the city park, and all I could find there was a gazebo. What am I supposed to do?

Click on the gazebo to go inside. Then just sit there and wait!

Ok, I'm waiting inside the gazebo. Now what am I supposed to do?

Do you really want us to spoil it for you by telling!? (If you're hopelessly confused about what to do, click here for a hint. Or, if your IQ is less than zero and you're a total loser when it comes to playing honestly, click here for the spoiler.)

Ok, I've found the wizard. Now what?

Now you're on your own! Good luck, and have fun playing Tri-Quest!

What should I do if I have other questions about Tri-Quest?

Simply post your questions on our Message Board to ask for help from other players. However if you find an "error" in the game (such as a broken link, etc.), then please let us know about it.
