SiMPLE does not currently run on 64-bit computers
(unless they have an emulator, such as Microsoft's
Virtual PC)
The most recent version of SiMPLE ("The SiMPLE Combo") can be installed either: onto a portable flash drive (recommended), onto your computer's main "C:" drive, or onto any other drive in your system.
A. Installing SiMPLE Onto A Flash Drive
One of the advantages of installing SiMPLE onto a flash drive is that it enables you to carry SiMPLE and all your work right in your pocket! You can then create and run programs on just about any Windows computer... including "public" computers that may provide only limited access to the built-in hard drive. (Click here to read more.)

B. Installing SiMPLE Onto Your "C:" Drive
In order to install (and use) SiMPLE with your computer's "C:" drive, you must be logged on as an "administrator" in Windows.

C. Installing SiMPLE Onto Any Drive
Many schools provide their students with only limited access to the "C:" drive on their computers. Therefore SiMPLE cannot be used directly on those "C:" drives. But some of those schools do allow full access to other drives in the system. When that is the case, SiMPLE can be unstalled and used on those other drives.

If you already have an older version of SiMPLE installed, there's no need to delete your existing copy. You can just update the one that you already have, if you so choose. (However, as is the case with most software updates, a fresh install is recommended.)
