How to Download and Install
SiMPLE Onto a Flash Drive

Installing SiMPLE onto a flash drive is quite easy. All you have to do is just download the "SiMPLE.zip" file from our website onto your flash drive, and then unzip that "SiMPLE.zip" file. Here's how to do it:

1. Download the "SiMPLE.zip" file:

The following link will let you download your FREE copy of "SiMPLE.zip":

Download "SiMPLE.zip" (Size: Approx. 5MB)

When the "File Download" dialog* box appears, click the "Save" button:

*(The form of dialog boxes may be different on your computer.)

Then, when the "Save As" dialog box appears, save the zipped folder onto the root directory of your flash drive:

2. Unzip the "SiMPLE.zip" file:

(Note: If your flash drive already contains an old "SiMPLE" folder,
you should delete it before you unzip the new "SiMPLE.zip" file.)

After the download process is complete, right-click the "SiMPLE.zip" file that you just downloaded, and then select "Extract All..." (As you know, you can not merely double-click the zipped folder and then use its contents. You must first unzip it.)

(The form of the dialog box may be different on your computer.)

After everything finishes unzipping, you should see a new  "SiMPLE" folder (one that doesn't have a ".zip" extension on it):

You can now delete the old "SiMPLE.zip" file. (Or you can drag it into your new "SiMPLE" folder where it will be handy if you ever want to give a copy of SiMPLE to your friends. )

To finish preparing your flash drive for use, just open the new unzipped "SiMPLE" folder . . .

[The item labeled "Fetch The Proper Icons" may be some other image, de- pending on the version of Windows that is running on the host computer.]

. . . and copy the item labeled "Fetch The Proper Icons" onto the root directory of your flash drive. (If you wish, you may also copy the "SiMPLE Samples" folder and the "ReadMe.html" document there as well.)

Congratulations! You now have a "Porta-SiMPLE" flash drive!
